Coronation Street was Friday evening's most-watched soap (August 15) as Nick's bad behaviour continued, overnight figures show.
The Weatherfield drama pulled in 6.31m (33.9%) at 7.30pm on ITV and 176k (0.9%) on +1 as Nick's health appeared to take a turn for the worse following a clash with Leanne, but 6.14m (29.9%) returned at 8.30pm and 243k (1.3%) on +1 as Nick confided in David about how he faked the whole thing.
Emmerdale attracted 5.54m (32.2%) at 7pm on ITV and 177k (0.9%) on +1 as Donna's loved ones were left devastated by news of her death in an emotional episode.
EastEnders interested 5.43m (28.3%) at 8pm on BBC One as Jay continued to behave suspiciously in relation to the Lucy murder case. BBC Three's repeat screening secured 469k (3.2%) at 10.30pm.
Hollyoaks appealed to 801k (5.0%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 as Lindsey and Joe faced the consequences of crossing gangster Grace. E4's first look followed with 683k (4.0%) at 7pm and 138k (0.7%) on +1.
Over on Channel 5, Lucy's Neighbours return storyline continued with 563k (8.5%) at 1.45pm and 758k (5.9%) at 5.30pm, while Home and Away claimed 188k (2.7%) at 1.15pm, 508k (3.5%) at 6pm and 283k (1.8%) with 5*'s first look at 6.30pm.
Elsewhere, Doctors was seen by 1.17m (17.7%) at 1.45pm on BBC One.
