EastEnders was the most-watched soap on Tuesday (July 8) as a big week for the Carters continued, overnight figures show.
Airing later than usual at 8pm, the Walford drama pulled in 6.15m (30.4%) on BBC One as Linda shocked Mick by telling him that she wanted another baby. BBC Three's repeat screening had 272k (1.3%) at 10.30pm.
Emmerdale attracted 5.62m (30.9%) at 7pm on ITV and 217k (1.0%) on +1 as Andy and Adam clashed over the accident in an hour-long episode.
Hollyoaks grabbed 933k (5.8%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 with more ruthless behaviour from Sienna, the show's highest rating since June 9. E4's first look secured 711k (4.0%) at 7pm.
Over on Channel 5, Neighbours entertained 641k (10.3%) at 1.45pm and 666k (5.5%) at 5.30pm, while Home and Away mustered 189k (2.9%) at 1.15pm, 552k (3.7%) at 6pm and 317k (2.0%) with 5*'s first look at 6.30pm.
Elsewhere, BBC One's Doctors continued with 1.2m (19.3%) at 1.45pm.
