Emmerdale topped the soap ratings on Thursday (June 26) with its dramatic Barton-centric double bill, overnight figures show.
5.01m (27.6%) tuned in at 7pm on ITV and 120k (0.6%) on +1 as Moira and James's romantic history was exposed at Finn's birthday party. 4.58m (22.1%) returned at 8pm and 331k (1.6%) on +1 with the fallout and Moira's second confession regarding Adam's true paternity.
Holby City, which clashed with the second Emmerdale for 30 minutes, managed 3.51m (17.1%) at 8pm on BBC One.
Airing against World Cup coverage once again, Hollyoaks claimed 643k (3.7%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 and 123k (0.7%) on +1 as Grace was shot in the aftermath of her not guilty verdict. E4's first look followed with 745k (4.1%) at 7pm and 153k (0.7%) on +1.
Neighbours interested 645k (10.5%) at 1.45pm and 608k (4.5%) at 5.30pm on Channel 5 with Callum's departure, while Home and Away appealed to 261k (4.1%) at 1.15pm, 430k (2.7%) at 6pm and 261k (1.5%) with 5*'s first look at 6.30pm.
