EastEnders tops Friday ratings with 5.32 million

EastEnders was Friday's highest-rated soap with an audience of more than 5 million.

An average of 5.32 million viewers (28.9%) paid a visit to Albert Square at 8pm on BBC One.

Emmerdale pulled in an average audience of 4.47 million (27.8%) at 7pm on ITV, as Marlon questioned Bob about Donna's whereabouts.

Earlier, Doctors was seen by 1.04 million (17.6%) on BBC One at 1.45pm.

The 1.15pm showing of Home and Away attracted 240k (4.1%) on Channel 5, while Neighbours reeled in 533k (9%) immediately after.

Repeat showings at 5.30pm for Neighbours and 6pm for Home and Away drew 571k (4.7%) and 343k (2.4%) respectively.

Hollyoaks, meanwhile, was watched by an average of 530k viewers (3.4%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4, while 502k (3.1%) tuned in to E3's first look episode at 7pm.
