EastEnders just won the soap ratings battle for BBC One on Tuesday, overnight ratings reveal.
The aftermath of Sharon's attack attracted 5.82 million (32.5%) at the earlier time of 7pm. Its BBC Three repeat brought in 480,000 (3.2%) at 10.30pm.
On ITV, Emmerdale's earlier screening was seen by 5.46m (28.7%) at 7.30pm (174k/0.8% on +1), as Donna decided to do a runner following the bungled robbery.
Channel 4's Hollyoaks appealed to 734k (4.4%) at 6.30pm (126k/0.7%) as Patrick tried to get rid of Nico. E4's first-look attracted 711k (4.0%) at 7pm (178k/0.8%).
Earlier, BBC One's Doctors interested 1.22m (21.9%) at 1.45pm.
Channel 5's Home and Away continued with 215k (3.6%) at 1.15pm and 506k (3.4%) at 6pm. 5*'s first-look gathered 318k (1.9%) at 6.30pm.
Neighbours was seen by 613k (10.8%) at 1.45pm and 680k (5.3%) at 5.30pm.
