EastEnders topped a low-rating evening for the soaps on Friday (May 30), overnight figures show.
Airing against ITV's pre-match coverage of the England vs. Peru game, EastEnders pulled in 5.69m (30.0%) at 7.30pm on BBC One as David Wicks made an emotional departure from Albert Square. BBC Three's repeat screening secured 414k (2.7%) at 10.30pm.
Emmerdale attracted 5.25m (30.4%) at 7pm on ITV and 261k (1.3%) on +1 as James told Chas the truth about Adam's paternity.
Hollyoaks interested 817k (5.2%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 as Dodger continued to suffer due to Holly's lies, while E4's first look had 625k (3.6%) at 7pm and 105k (0.5%) on +1.
Over on Channel 5, Neighbours managed 546k (8.5%) at 1.45pm and 600k (5.0%) at 5.30pm, while Home and Away claimed 211k (3.1%) at 1.15pm, 500k (3.5%) at 6pm and 300k (1.9%) for 5*'s first look at 6.30pm.
Elsewhere, the latest episode of Doctors was seen by 1.19m (18.4%) at 1.45pm on BBC One.
