EastEnders was Thursday's top-rated soap (May 8) as Jake Stone was revealed as a key suspect in the Lucy Beale murder case, overnight figures show.
The Walford drama attracted 6.73m (33.8%) at 7.30pm on BBC One as Lauren discovered that Jake was the mystery man who emailed her on the night of Lucy's death. BBC Three's repeat screening secured 444k (3.1%) at 10.30pm.
Emmerdale pulled in 5.74m (30.9%) at 7pm on ITV and 130k (0.6%) on +1 as Donna turned rogue by stealing evidence from the police station. Later, the show dipped against BBC One's MasterChef, taking 5.27m (23.9%) at 8pm and 160k (0.8%) on +1.
Hollyoaks interested 1.01m (5.7%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 as Grace kidnapped Ste, while E4's first look was boosted to 894k (4.8%) at 7pm and 103k (0.5%) on +1.
Over on Channel 5, a dangerous situation for Brennan and Imogen in Neighbours appealed to 627k (9.4%) at 1.45pm and 819k (5.9%) at 5.30pm.
Elsewhere, BBC One's Doctors rose to 1.47m (22.2%) at 1.45pm.
