Coronation Street tops Friday's soap ratings...

Coronation Street was Friday evening's top-rated soap (April 11) with Phelan and Anna's indecent proposal plot, overnight figures show.

7.21m (37.2%) watched at 7.30pm on ITV and 139k (0.6%) on +1 as Anna agreed to sleep with Phelan in return for him ending his blackmail, while 6.83m (30.1%) returned at 8.30pm and 188k (0.9%) on +1 to see Anna left in turmoil after going through with the sordid deal.

EastEnders attracted 6.24m (30.2%) at 8pm on BBC One with the aftermath of Ronnie and Lola's car crash and the reappearance of Matt Di Angelo as Dean. BBC Three's repeat screening secured 298k (2.2%) at 10.45pm.

Emmerdale interested 5.63m (32.7%) at 7pm on ITV and 116k (0.6%) on +1 as Dom received a surprise delivery.

Hollyoaks managed 787k (5.0%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 as Sinead cleared her name at Katy's funeral, while E4's first look topped the day's multichannel ratings with 829k (4.8%) at 7pm and 110k (0.5%) on +1.

Over on Channel 5, Neighbours entertained 592k (8.9%) at 1.45pm and 788k (6.2%) at 5.30pm, while Home and Away managed 203k (3.0%) at 1.15pm, 589k (4.0%) at 6pm and 422k (2.7%) for 5*'s first look at 6.30pm.

Elsewhere, the final episode of Doctors before the show's Easter break was seen by 1.3m (19.8%) at 1.45pm on BBC One.
