7.29m (36.1%) tuned in at the earlier time of 7pm on ITV and 358k (1.7%) on +1 as Phelan blackmailed Gary and Owen into continuing with their deal for a basic wage only.
Elsewhere, Waterloo Road held up against ITV's coverage of the England vs. Denmark game, pulling in 3.2m (14.4%) at 8pm on BBC One for Christine's bad day.
Hollyoaks attracted 969k (5.2%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 as Tom was revealed as the culprit behind Rose's kidnapping. E4's first look followed with 827k (4.1%) at 7pm and 127k (0.6%) on +1.
Over on Channel 5, Neighbours continued with 629k (9.5%) at 1.45pm and 802k (5.3%) at 5.30pm, while Home and Away managed 165k (2.5%) at 1.15pm, 671k (3.9%) at 6pm and 421k (2.3%) for 5*'s first look at 6.30pm.
