Coronation Street topped Monday's soap ratings (February 24) as Anna's troubles with sleazy Phelan intensified, overnight figures show.
8.54m (38.2%) watched at 7.30pm on ITV and 150k (0.6%) on +1 as Anna fought off Phelan's advances. 8.27m (34.9%) returned at 8.30pm and 234k (1.0%) on +1 as Izzy made Gary aware of Phelan's behaviour.
EastEnders attracted 7.5m (32.1%) at 8pm on BBC One as Kat paid a visit to Janine and asked her to help Stacey. BBC Three's repeat screening secured 294k (2.1%) at 10.30pm.
Emmerdale interested 6.89m (32.7%) at 7pm on ITV and 105k (0.5%) on +1 as Charity and Declan worried that Jai could track down Rachel.
Hollyoaks managed 933k (4.7%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 as John Paul attacked Robbie following a difficult day, while the aftermath helped E4's first look to top Monday's multichannel ratings with 737k (3.5%) at 7pm and 140k (0.6%) on +1.
Over on Channel 5, Neighbours had its highest lunchtime rating of the month so far with 726k (10.3%) at 1.45pm, while 921k (5.8%) watched the teatime screening at 5.30pm. Home and Away continued with 264k (3.6%) at 1.15pm, 654k (3.6%) at 6pm and 497k (2.5%) for 5*'s first look at 6.30pm.
Elsewhere, a double bill of Doctors on BBC One appealed to 1.64m (23.2%) at 1.45pm and 1.26m (19.4%) at 2.15pm.
