'Coronation Street' tops Monday's soap ratings...

Coronation Street topped Monday evening's soap ratings (February 10) as Roy Cropper's loved ones received worrying news, overnight figures show.

8.81m (38.1%) watched at 7.30pm on ITV and 125k (0.5%) on +1 as Fiz, Anna and Tyrone realised that Roy had been missing for days. The audience increased to 8.87m (36.6%) at 8.30pm and 191k (0.8%) on +1 as Fiz and Anna called in the police to investigate the mystery.

EastEnders attracted 7.74m (32.0%) at 8pm on BBC One as Kat told Alfie and Max about her sighting of Stacey. BBC Three's repeat screening secured 378k (2.7%) at 10.30pm.

Emmerdale appealed to 7.09m (32.7%) at 7pm on ITV and 134k (0.6%) on +1 as Moira proposed to Cain.

Hollyoaks interested 1.09m (5.2%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 as Cindy's waters broke just 24 weeks into her pregnancy, while E4's first look was the most-watched multichannel programme of the day with 823k (3.8%) at 7pm and 115k (0.5%) on +1.

Over on Channel 5, Neighbours entertained 560k (7.3%) at 1.45pm and 910k (5.5%) at 5.30pm, while Home and Away had 210k (2.7%) at 1.15pm, 639k (3.3%) at 6pm and 492k (2.4%) for 5*'s first look at 6.30pm.

Elsewhere, BBC One's Doctors put in another strong performance with 1.77m (23.1%) at 1.45pm.
