9.2m (41.4%) watched at 7.30pm on ITV and 172k (0.6%) on +1 as Carla's stress escalated ahead of the big day.
Emmerdale attracted 7.41m (35.3%) at 7pm on ITV and 192k (0.8%) on +1 as Charity tried to keep Cain quiet about her drunken come-on.
EastEnders' hour-long episode, which featured the arrival of Nikki Spraggan, appealed to 7.38m (29.5%) at 8pm on BBC One - holding up well against its 30-minute clash with I'm a Celebrity. BBC Three's repeat screening secured 528k (4.1%) at 10.30pm.
Hollyoaks mustered 1.13m (5.6%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 and 102k (0.5%) on +1 as Tony found himself in danger again, while E4's first look had 797k (3.8%) at 7pm and 156k (0.7%) on +1.
Over on Channel 5, Neighbours entertained 576k (8.4%) at 1.45pm and 897k (5.5%) at 5.30pm, while Home and Away managed 208k (2.9%) at 1.15pm, 695k (3.7%) at 6pm and 385k (1.9%) for 5*'s first look at 6.30pm.
Elsewhere, the latest episode of Doctors was seen by 1.38m (20.1%) at 1.45pm on BBC One.
