The midweek visit to Weatherfield interested 8.14m (36.9%) at 7.30pm on ITV and 365k (1.5%) on +1 as Leanne decided that Simon should move back in with Peter due to Nick's condition.
Emmerdale attracted 7.09m (34.0%) at 7pm on ITV as Charity's suspicions over Jai and Archie returned, adding 306k (1.4%) on +1.
Hollyoaks was back above the 1m mark as 1.12m (5.6%) watched Joe's shock arrest at 6.30pm on Channel 4, while E4's first look had 612k (2.9%) at 7pm and 247k (1.1%) on +1.
Over on Channel 5, Neighbours appealed to 581k (8.1%) at 1.45pm and 890k (5.4%) at 5.30pm, while Home and Away entertained 294k (4.0%) at 1.15pm, 720k (3.9%) at 6pm and 475k (2.4%) with 5*'s first look at 6.30pm.
Elsewhere, the latest episode of Doctors interested 1.47m (20.4%) at 1.45pm on BBC One.
