7.92m (39.1%) watched at 7.30pm on ITV and 126k (0.6%) on +1 as Paul learned that he was in trouble at work, while 7.71m (34.9%) returned at 8.30pm and 192k (0.9%) on +1 as Paul became violent as he wrongly blamed Lloyd.
Emmerdale attracted 6.77m (36.2%) at 7pm on ITV with the continued aftermath of Gennie's murder, adding 158k (0.7%) on +1.
EastEnders managed 6.52m (30.9%) at 8pm on BBC One as Whitney pursued Joey, while BBC Three's repeat screening secured 483k (3.0%) at 10.30pm.
Hollyoaks brought 1.01m (5.8%) to Channel 4 at 6.30pm as a desperate Sinead came up with a plan, while E4's first look had 359k (1.9%) at 7pm.
On Channel 5, Neighbours entertained 631k (8.7%) at 1.45pm and 877k (6.7%) at 5.30pm, while Home and Away mustered 281k (3.6%) at 1.15pm, 582k (3.7%) at 6pm and 464k (2.7%) for 5*'s first look at 6.30pm.
Elsewhere, the latest episode of Doctors was seen by 1.35m (18.1%) at 1.45pm on BBC One.
