Coronation Street stayed above the 7 million mark with Wednesday evening's episode (July 10), overnight figures show.
The midweek visit to Weatherfield, which saw Katy and Ryan split up, entertained 7.38m (40.1%) at 7.30pm on ITV and 320k (1.7%) on +1.
Emmerdale brought in 5.59m (33.3%) at 7pm on ITV with the aftermath of Laurel's carjacking, adding 237k (1.3%) on +1.
Hollyoaks interested 795k (5.4%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 with Sienna's latest stunt, while E4's first look had 589k (3.5%) at 7pm and 124k (0.7%) on +1.
On Channel 5, Neighbours grabbed 532k (9.2%) at 1.45pm and 860k (7.2%) at 5.30pm, while Home and Away managed 279k (4.3%) at 1.15pm, 648k (4.7%) at 6pm and 425k (2.9%) for 5*'s first look at 6.30pm.
