The midweek visit to Weatherfield attracted 7.2m (35.3%) at 7.30pm on ITV and 425k (2.0%) on +1 with Owen discovering that Faye had been home alone since Friday.
Emmerdale struggled against live coverage of Andy Murray's latest Wimbledon match, pulling in 5.28m (24.5%) at 7pm as Katie tried to trick Declan. 398k (2.0%) caught the episode an hour later on +1.
Hollyoaks entertained 818k (4.3%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 as Browning tried to help the McQueens fix their problem with Trevor, while E4's first look secured 517k (2.4%) at 7pm and 105k (0.5%) on +1.
On Channel 5, Neighbours appealed to 553k (7.7%) at 1.45pm and 862k (5.7%) at 5.30pm, while Home and Away managed 262k (3.6%) at 1.15pm, 613k (3.5%) at 6pm and 392k (2.0%) for 5*'s first look at 6.30pm.
