EastEnders tops Thursday evening's soap ratings

EastEnders was Thursday evening's (June 13) most-watched soap as Lauren's alcoholism story continued, overnight figures show.

The latest visit to Walford interested 6.52m (32.1%) at 7.30pm on BBC One with Lauren's dangerous escape attempt. BBC Three's repeat screening secured 584k (3.7%) at 10.30pm.

Emmerdale appealed to 6.41m (33.4%) at 7pm on ITV and 167k (0.7%) on +1 with the aftermath of Kerry's accident, while 6.33m (27.9%) returned at 8pm and 332k (1.5%) on +1 as Cain helped Adam to cover up his terrible mistake.

Waterloo Road entertained 3.12m (13.8%) at 8pm on BBC One with Audrey's wedding episode.

Hollyoaks grabbed 868k (4.9%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 as Browning showed his true colours with Lindsey, while E4's first look had 446k (2.3%) at 7pm.

Over on Channel 5, Neighbours brought in 545k (8.0%) at 1.45pm and 835k (6.0%) at 5.30pm, while Home and Away mustered 205k (2.9%) at 1.15pm, 672k (4.2%) at 6pm and 421k (2.4%) for 5*'s first look at 6.30pm.

Elsewhere, the latest episode of Doctors was seen by 1.29m (19.0%) at 1.45pm on BBC One.
