9.47m (36.2%) tuned in at 9pm on ITV as the soap's ongoing surrogacy storyline saw Gary and Izzy's baby son rushed off to a special care unit. The episode also had a high +1 figure of 672k (3.5%) an hour later.
Emmerdale appealed to 6.67m (32.0%) at 7pm on ITV as Robbie continued to scheme, adding 170k (0.7%) on +1.
Hollyoaks interested 884k (4.8%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 as Dodger began to suspect that Theresa killed Texas, while E4's first look had 493k (2.4%) at 7pm and 121k (0.5%) on +1.
Over on Channel 5, Neighbours entertained 603k (6.8%) at 1.45pm and 856k (5.5%) at 5.30pm, while Home and Away managed 256k (2.8%) at 1.15pm, 642k (3.7%) at 6pm and 368k (2.0%) for 5*'s first look at 6.30pm.
