EastEnders back above the 7 million mark on Thursday evening

EastEnders was back above the 7 million mark on Thursday evening (May 9) as the Roxy and Kat storyline continued, overnight figures show.

7.24m (34.9%) tuned in at 7.30pm on BBC One as Kat helped Roxy to get rid of would-be robber Jozef at the Queen Vic. BBC Three's repeat screening secured 499k (3.4%) at 10.30pm.

Emmerdale attracted 6.62m (33.3%) at 7pm on ITV as Priya's anger boiled over, while 5.93m (26.7%) returned at 8pm and 228k (1.0%) on +1 to see the barmaid's big decision over David.

Waterloo Road entertained 3.22m (14.6%) at 8pm on BBC One as Rhiannon rebelled against Maggie.

Hollyoaks brought 956k (5.2%) to Channel 4 at 6.30pm with Texas's wedding day tragedy, while the aftermath on E4's first look had 692k (3.5%) at 7pm and 138k (0.8%) on +1.

Over on Channel 5, Neighbours appealed to 718k (10.3%) at 1.45pm and 914k (6.2%) at 5.30pm, while Home and Away managed 288k (4.0%) at 1.15pm, 749k (4.4%) at 6pm and 495k (2.7%) with 5*'s first look at 6.30pm.

Elsewhere, the latest episode of Doctors managed 1.43m (20.7%) at 1.45pm on BBC One.
