Coronation Street was Monday evening's (April 29) most-watched soap as Eileen and Paul reunited, overnight figures show.
8.76m (41.8%) tuned in at 7.30pm on ITV and 208k (0.9%) on +1 as Eileen raced off to the train station to stop Paul from leaving, while 8.7m (36.5%) returned at 8.30pm and 187k (0.8%) on +1 as Paul arrived back on the cobbles to work things out with Eileen.
EastEnders managed 7.32m (31.5%) at 8pm on BBC One as Sharon continued to struggle with her painkiller addiction. BBC Three's repeat screening secured 453k (3.2%) at 10.30pm.
Emmerdale brought in 6.67m (34.9%) at 7pm on ITV as Rishi continued lying to protect Jai, adding 154k (0.7%) on +1.
Hollyoaks interested 969k (5.5%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 as Ste attacked Kevin, while E4's first look had 595k (3.1%) at 7pm.
On Channel 5, Neighbours entertained 583k (8.3%) at 1.45pm and 1.04m (7.3%) at 5.30pm, while Home and Away had 254k (3.7%) at 1.15pm, 721k (4.3%) at 6pm and 441k (2.5%) for 5*'s first look at 6.30pm.
Elsewhere, the latest episode of Doctors was seen by 1.47m (20.9%) at 1.45pm on BBC One.
