EastEnders topped Tuesday evening's soap ratings (March 26) with more drama in Liam Butcher's gang storyline, overnight figures show.
The latest visit to Albert Square interested 7.6m (33.2%) at 7.30pm on BBC One as Liam tried to mug Shirley in an attempt to impress the gang. BBC Three's repeat screening had 379k (2.7%) at 10.30pm.
Emmerdale entertained 6.86m (31.9%) at 7pm on ITV and 170k (0.7%) on +1 as Declan feared that his secret wasn't safe.
Holby City managed 4.66m (18.9%) at 8pm on BBC One with an episode titled 'Journey's End'.
Hollyoaks pulled in 1.08m (5.4%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 as the McQueens worried about missing Mercedes, while E4's first look had 736k (3.4%) at 7pm and 142k (0.6%) on +1.
Over on Channel 5, Neighbours grabbed 651k (8.4%) at 1.45pm and 1.03m (6.4%) at 5.30pm, while Home and Away mustered 720k (3.8%) at 6pm and 429k (2.1%) for 5*'s first look at 6.30pm.
Elsewhere, the latest episode of Doctors was seen by 1.67m (21.8%) at 1.45pm on BBC One.
