Coronation Street was Monday evening's (November 5) most-watched soap as Lewis took revenge against Gloria, overnight figures show.
The Weatherfield drama pulled in 8.19m (36.8%) at 7.30pm on ITV1 and 216k (0.9%) on +1 as Lewis's scheming landed Gloria in hot water, while 8.17m (34.0%) returned at 8.30pm and 206k (0.9%) on +1 to see Gloria depart the cobbles after being kicked out by Stella.
EastEnders, meanwhile, attracted 7.59m (32.4%) at 8pm on BBC One as Zainab arrived back in Walford, while BBC Three's repeat screening secured 416k (2.9%) at 10.30pm.
Emmerdale interested 7.11m (33.9%) at 7pm on ITV1 as Nicola and Scarlett vowed to unite against Charity, adding 212k (0.9%) an hour later.
Hollyoaks appealed to 977k (4.8%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 as Mitzeee was released on bail, while E4's first look managed 489k (2.3%) at 7pm.
Over on Channel 5, Neighbours appealed to 719k (10.4%) at 1.45pm and 990k (6.0%) at 5.30pm, while Home and Away mustered 787k (4.1%) at 6pm and 430k (2.1%) for 5*'s first look at 6.30pm.
Elsewhere, the latest episode of Doctors was seen by 1.4m (20.2%) at 1.45pm on BBC One.
