Coronation Street was Wednesday evening's (October 31) most-watched soap as Tina made her final decision regarding the surrogacy plan, overnight figures show.
The Weatherfield drama pulled in 7.64m (36.0%) at 7.30pm on ITV1 and 254k (1.1%) on +1 as Tina went back on her word to Tommy by honouring her original promise to Gary and Izzy.
Emmerdale, meanwhile, attracted 6.99m (34.9%) at 7pm and 230k (1.1%) an hour later as Scarlett returned and Jimmy continued to struggle with his grief.
Hollyoaks interested 716k (3.7%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 as Ste's temper erupted at the deli, while E4's first look appealed to 396k (2.0%) at 7pm and 128k (0.6%) on +1.
Over on Channel 5, Neighbours grabbed 613k (7.6%) at 1.45pm and 959k (6.1%) at 5.30pm, while Home and Away mustered 701k (4.0%) at 6pm and 447k (2.3%) for 5*'s first look at 6.30pm.
Elsewhere, the latest episode of Doctors was seen by 1.56m (19.2%) at 1.45pm on BBC One.
