Coronation Street was Monday evening's (September 24) most-watched soap with the latest Tyrone and Kirsty dramas, overnight figures show.
The Weatherfield serial pulled in 7.98m (35.3%) at 7.30pm on ITV1 and 135k (0.5%) on +1 as Kirsty lost her temper while looking after baby Ruby, while 8.25m (32.8%) watched at 8.30pm and 241k (1.0%) on timeshift as Tyrone struggled to cope with his partner's angry behaviour.
EastEnders, meanwhile, attracted 7.34m (29.9%) at 8pm on BBC One as Sharon paid a visit to an addicts' support group. BBC Three's repeat screening secured 471k (3.1%) at 10.30pm.
Emmerdale interested 6.49m (31.0%) at 7pm as Kerry discharged herself from hospital, while Hollyoaks mustered 880k (4.4%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 and 631k (3.0%) for E4's first look at 7pm.
Over on Channel 5, Neighbours entertained 703k (8.6%) at 1.45pm and 1.02m (6.5%) at 5.30pm, while Home and Away had 775k (4.2%) at 6pm and 456k (2.3%) for 5*'s first look at 6.30pm.
Elsewhere, the latest episode of Doctors was seen by 1.62m (19.7%) at 1.45pm on BBC One.
