Coronation Street was the most-watched soap on Monday evening (August 6) as Kirsty and Tyrone's relationship troubles escalated, overnight figures show.
The ITV1 drama pulled in 7.07m (29.8%) at 7.30pm and 115k (0.4%) on +1 as Tyrone accidentally knocked Kirsty to the ground during an argument, while 6.84m (25.6%) returned at 8.30pm and 162k (0.6%) on timeshift to see Kirsty's decision to leave the cobbles.
EastEnders, meanwhile, held up well on BBC Two at 8pm as 6.2m (24.2%) watched Phil worry over Ian's return. BBC Three's repeat screening secured 753k (6.3%) at 11pm.
Emmerdale attracted 5.75m (26.2%) at 7pm and 147k (0.6%) on +1 as Marlon decided to fight for Leo, while Hollyoaks managed 758k (3.7%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 and 366k (1.7%) for E4's first look at 7pm.
Over on Channel 5, Neighbours entertained 558k (5.9%) at 1.45pm and 856k (5.1%) at 5.30pm.
On 5*, the latest classic episodes of Home and Away appealed to 185k (1.0%) and 169k (0.8%) at 6pm and 6.30pm respectively.
