Coronation Street topped the soap ratings on Monday evening (July 30) as Ryan Connor's drug habit was exposed, overnight figures show.
The Weatherfield drama pulled in 7.14m (30.3%) at 7.30pm as Ryan offered some cocaine to Kylie, while Michelle's discovery of her son's antics had 7m (28.0%) at 8.30pm and 179k (0.8%) on +1.
EastEnders, meanwhile, attracted 5.68m (23.2%) at 8pm on BBC Two as Cora opened up over her past. BBC Three's repeat screening secured 671k (5.8%) at 11pm.
Emmerdale appealed to 5.51m (25.1%) at 7pm and 111k (0.5%) on +1 as Charity began to scheme, while Hollyoaks managed 719k (3.6%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 and 343k (1.6%) for E4's first look at 7pm.
Over on Channel 5, Neighbours entertained 606k (6.4%) at 1.45pm and 864k (5.3%) at 5.30pm.
On digital station 5*, the feature-length pilot episode of Home and Away averaged 221k (1.0%) from 6pm.
