Coronation Street was the most-watched soap on Wednesday evening (July 25) with the continuing fallout from Karl and Sunita's affair, overnight figures show.
The ITV1 drama pulled in 7.35m (39.4%) at 7.30pm and 472k (2.3%) on +1 as Dev tried to save his relationship with Sunita.
EastEnders, meanwhile, attracted 6.24m (32.1%) at 8pm as Tanya stumbled upon a family secret. BBC Three's repeat screening secured 664k (3.3%) at 10pm.
Emmerdale interested 5.91m (34.8%) at 7pm as Rachel and Jai had secret second thoughts about the termination, adding 235k (1.2%) on timeshift.
Hollyoaks managed 711k (4.5%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 as fears for Cheryl's safety continued, while E4's first look appealed to 395k (2.3%) at 7pm.
Over on Channel 5, Neighbours entertained 657k (10.1%) at 1.45pm and 922k (7.5%) at 5.30pm, while Home and Away mustered 670k (4.6%) at 6pm and 465k (3.0%) for 5*'s first look at 6.30pm.
Elsewhere, the latest episode of Doctors - titled 'The Bespectacled Bounder' - was seen by 1.29m (20.0%) at 1.45pm.
