Ratings: 'Coronation Street' Eva discovery takes 7.2m

Coronation Street was the most-watched soap on Monday evening (June 18) as Karl and Sunita found themselves in a tricky situation, overnight figures show.

The ITV1 show pulled in 7.23m (34.1%) at 7.30pm and 378k (1.6%) on +1 as Eva realised something was going on between the cheating pair.

Emmerdale, meanwhile, attracted 6.22m (33.2%) at 7pm and 272k (1.2%) on timeshift as David began plotting a sham wedding.

Hollyoaks grabbed 883k (5.1%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 with Carmel's injury ordeal, while E4's first look had 475k (2.5%) at 7pm and 144k (0.6%) on +1.

Over on Channel 5, Neighbours entertained 519k (8.4%) at 1.45pm and 928k (6.9%) at 5.30pm, while Home and Away managed 619k (3.9%) at 6pm and 481k (2.8%) for 5*'s first look at 6.30pm.

Elsewhere, Doctors' dramatic fire episode was watched by 1.27m (20.6%) at 1.45pm on BBC One.
