Lottie, 98, is oldest TV extra

You've probably seen her dozens of times on television – but it’s unlikely you will know her name

Ninety-eight-year-old Lottie Goodwin, from Altrincham, is Britain's oldest TV extra and she has clocked up scores of appearances on numerous shows.

Since making her debut 38 years ago on Emmerdale Farm (as it was then called), she has since appeared in Coronation Street, Brookside, Hollyoaks, Brideshead Revisited, Lost Empires, Jewel In The Crown, Raffles, International Velvet and Northern Lights.

Of course it'll fit; you just need a bigger hammer.

Good luckto her - it's probably working that keeps her going. Can't say I recognise her but I rarely watch Emmerdale. Hope that she can carry on for a very long time to come!!
