Coronation Street pulled in 7.49m (35.6%) at 7.30pm on ITV1 and 223k (1.0%) on +1 as Dev discovered that Sunita has a secret stash of money.
EastEnders, meanwhile, pulled in 6.29m (27.6%) at 8pm for an hour-long episode focusing on Michael's elaborate plan to discredit Jean. BBC Three's repeat screening secured 864k (4.8%) at 10pm.
Emmerdale interested 6.17m (31.4%) at 7pm with Gennie's pregnancy news, adding 150k (0.7%) on timeshift.
Hollyoaks appealed to 834k (4.6%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 as Brendan presented Ste with a business proposal, while E4's first look had 450k (2.3%) at 7pm and 109k (0.5%) on +1.
Over on Channel 5, Neighbours grabbed 644k (8.7%) at 1.45pm and 965k (6.6%) at 5.30pm, while Home and Away managed 722k (4.1%) at 6pm and 474k (2.6%) for 5*'s first look at 6.30pm.
Elsewhere, Doctors returned to screens with 1.36m (18.5%) at 1.45pm on BBC One.
