EastEnders was easily the most-watched soap on Tuesday evening (June 5) as Michael Moon and Jean Slater's storyline continued, overnight figures show.
EastEnders pulled in 7.76m (34.0%) at 7.30pm on BBC One as Jean confronted Janine about Michael's con. BBC Three's repeat screening secured 602k (2.9%) at 10pm.
Also on BBC One, Holby City entertained 4.93m (21.4%) at 8pm with an episode titled 'Last Day On Earth'.
Emmerdale, meanwhile, attracted 6.67m (29.7%) at 7pm and 148k (0.7%) on +1 as Zak returned home.
Hollyoaks grabbed 847k (4.1%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 as Doug told Ste the truth about Brendan's loan, while E4's first look appealed to 427k (1.9%) at 7pm and 168k (0.7%) on timeshift.
Over on Channel 5, Neighbours managed 461k (3.3%) at 1pm and 947k (5.0%) at 5.30pm, while Home and Away had 774k (3.9%) at 6pm and 432k (2.1%) for 5*'s first look at 6.30pm.
