The British Soap Awards put in a decent performance for ITV1 on Wednesday evening (May 2), overnight figures show.
The Phillip Schofield-fronted ceremony, which saw EastEnders and Coronation Street take home most of the prizes, entertained 5m (22.0%) from 8pm, adding 197k (0.9%) on +1.
Later, ITV2's coverage of the British Soap Awards after party grabbed 610k (3.4%) at 10pm and 136k (1.5%) on timeshift.
Earlier in the evening, Emmerdale brought 6.28m (34.0%) to ITV1 at 7pm and 145k (0.7%) on +1 as Lisa remained concerned for Zak.
Hollyoaks, meanwhile, had 668k (3.8%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 and 102k (0.5%) on +1. E4's first look interested 425k (2.3%) at 7pm and 119k (0.6%) an hour later.
Over on Channel 5, Neighbours grabbed 622k (9.6%) at 1.45pm and 981k (7.0%) at 5.30pm, while Home and Away appealed to 701k (4.3%) at 6pm and 482k (2.8%) for 5*'s first look at 6.30pm.
Elsewhere, the latest episode of Doctors - titled 'Responsibilities' - was seen by 1.24m (19.3%) at 1.45pm on BBC One.
