Emmerdale attracted its highest figure of the week so far on Wednesday evening (April 4) with Aaron Livesy's penultimate day in the village, overnight figures show.
Emmerdale pulled in 6.79m (33.1%) at 7pm and 193k (0.9%) on +1 as Aaron begged Adam to go along with his plan.
Waterloo Road, meanwhile, appealed to 4.44m (19.1%) at 8pm on BBC One as Josh's mental health deteriorated.
Hollyoaks entertained 1.09m (5.6%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 as Doug accepted Brendan's offer, adding 112k (0.5%) on timeshift. E4's first look secured 407k (2.0%) at 7pm.
Over on Channel 5, Neighbours grabbed 649k (7.9%) at 1.45pm and 984k (6.2%) at 5.30pm, while Home and Away mustered 721k (4.0%) at 6pm and 493k (2.5%) for 5*'s first look at 6.30pm.
Elsewhere, the latest episode of Doctors - titled 'A Suburban Affair' - was seen by 1.57m (19.2%) at 1.45pm on BBC One.
