Ratings: 'Coronation Street' rules Monday night

Coronation Street continued to deliver strong ratings on Monday evening in the aftermath of Frank Foster's rape trial, overnight figures show.
Coronation Street pulled in 9.95m (40.1%) at 7.30pm as Frank returned to Underworld to cause trouble for Carla. Later, Peter's suggestion to Carla that they should leave Weatherfield was seen by 9.58m (36.2%) at 8.30pm and 142k (0.5%) on ITV1+1.
EastEnders, meanwhile, attracted 8.6m (32.5%) at 8pm for Roxy and Jack's passionate encounter. BBC Three's repeat screening secured 731k (3.6%) at 10pm.
Emmerdale entertained 7.98m (34.5%) at 7pm as Amy and Val finally settled their differences, with 131k (0.5%) catching the timeshift airing an hour later.
Hollyoaks mustered 1.22m (5.5%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 as Nancy's mum Margaret returned to the village, while the aftermath of her arrival brought 512k (2.2%) to E4's first look at 7pm.
Over on Channel 5, Neighbours managed 840k (10.3%) at 1.45pm and 1.14m (6.4%) at 5.30pm, while Home and Away had 838k (4.1%) at 6pm and 488k (2.2%) for 5*'s first look at 6.30pm.
Elsewhere, the latest episode of Doctors - titled 'Denial' - appealed to 1.76m (21.7%) at 1.45pm on BBC One.
