EastEnders topped the 10m mark on Monday evening as Albert Square mourned the death of Pat Evans, overnight figures show.
EastEnders pulled in 10.27m (36.6%) at 8pm as the local residents tried to come to terms with their loss. 4.62m (16.5%) then tuned in for tribute documentary
Farewell Pat at 8.30pm.
Over on BBC Three, the 10pm
EastEnders repeat screening added 527k (2.3%), while 540k (2.7%) took a second chance to watch
Farewell Pat at 10.30pm.
Coronation Street, meanwhile, attracted 9.07m (34.2%) at 7.30pm and 136k (0.5%) on +1 as Carla decided to confront Frank. The second episode of the double bill - which saw Frank make a move on Sally - interested 8.21m (29.4%) at 8.30pm and 255k (1.0%) on timeshift.

Emmerdale appealed to 7.37m (28.8%) at 7pm and 150k (0.5%) on ITV1+1 for the latest developments in the Cain investigation.
Elsewhere,
Hollyoaks managed 767k (3.5%) at 6pm on Channel 4 and 104k (0.4%) on +1, while E4's first look mustered 309k (1.2%) at 7pm.
