Emmerdale stayed over the 7m mark on Wednesday evening as Amy's pregnancy storyline took its latest twists, overnight figures show.
Emmerdale pulled in 7.27m (32.7%) at 7pm as Amy headed to the village graveyard after realising that her baby was arriving early. A further 193k (0.8%) watched on timeshift.
Hollyoaks attracted 1.21m (5.6%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 and 130k (0.6%) on +1 as Jason said goodbye to his friends, while E4's first look was seen by 587k (2.6%) at 7pm and 146k (0.6%) on timeshift as Mercedes received the paternity test result.
Over on Channel 5,
Neighbours appealed to 782k (9.3%) at 1.45pm and 1.2m (7.0%) at 5.30pm, while
Home and Away interested 844k (4.2%) at 6pm. 5*'s first look at the Summer Bay soap entertained 584k (2.7%) at 6.30pm.
Elsewhere, the latest episode of
Doctors - titled 'An Uneasy Harmony' - managed 1.68m (20.1%) at lunchtime.
