EastEnders topped the soap ratings on Tuesday evening as the mystery surrounding Phil Mitchell's stalker intensified, overnight figures show.
EastEnders pulled in 8.75m (38.0%) at 7.30pm as Phil discovered that his tormentor knows the truth about Kevin Wicks's death. BBC Three's 10pm repeat screening took 1m (4.9%) at 10pm.
Also on BBC One,
Holby City entertained 4.39m (17.5%) at 8pm as Sahira found herself at odds with Hanssen.
Emmerdale attracted 7.13m (32.2%) at 7pm as Declan proposed to Katie, with a further 108k (0.4%) watching on timeshift.
Coronation Street's one-off Tuesday outing, meanwhile, could only muster 6.69m (27.6%) at 8pm and 186k (0.7%) on +1.
Elsewhere,
Hollyoaks managed 1.14m (5.3%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 and 102k (0.4%) on +1, while E4's first look screening was seen by 611k (2.8%) at 7pm.
Over on Channel 5,
Neighbours appealed to 761k (9.3%) at 1.45pm and 1.3m (7.5%) at 5.30pm, while
Home and Away interested 849k (4.3%) at 6pm. 5*'s first look at the Summer Bay soap had 522k (2.4%) at 6.30pm.
Meanwhile, the latest edition of
Doctors - titled 'Manhandled' - was watched by 1.66m (20.2%) at lunchtime.
