Emmerdale again outperformed Waterloo Road to remain the most popular soap on Wednesday evening, according to the latest audience data.
An hour-long episode of
Emmerdale averaged 7.19m (32.4%) from 7pm for ITV1 and 144k (0.6%) on timeshift, as Laurel faced one of the biggest decisions of her life.
On BBC One, the final
Waterloo Road of the current series educated 4.07m (18%) from 7.30pm, featuring Michael's confrontation with his stalker on the last day of term.
Hollyoaks appealed to 1.3m (6.1%) on Channel 4 from 6.30pm and 107k (0.5%) on +1, before E4's first look at the next episode mustered 626k (2.9%) from 7pm.
BBC One's
Doctors entertained 1.69m (23.6%) from 1.45pm, while
Neighbours had 616k (8.6%) on Channel 5, along with 1.31m (7.7%) from 5.30pm.
Home and Away delighted 917k (4.7%) on Channel 5 from 6pm, and 5*'s first look at the next episode pulled in 467k (2.2%) from 6.30pm.
