Some 8.24m (34.1%) stayed for the second episode in the double bill at 8.30pm. A further 125k (0.5%) saw heart-rending evidence of Chesney's devotion to Schmeichel on timeshift.
Earlier on ITV1, Ashley's suspicions on
Emmerdale intrigued 7.04m (32.9%) at 7pm.
BBC One's
EastEnders saw Zainab's suffering at the hands of Yusef continue, leaving 8.05m (34.5%) in disbelief. An additional 584k (2.8%) caught the 10pm repeat on BBC Three.

Hollyoaks drew 1.31m (6.3%) viewers at 6.30pm on Channel 4 for an episode which saw Bart attempt to win back Sinead. An audience numbering 435k (2%) hopped straight over to E4 for a
First Look episode, while 208k (0.9%) caught up with
Hollyoaks proper on +1.
On Channel 5,
Neighbours scored 579k (7.5%) for its afternoon showing, but improved its fortunes to 1.08m (6.3%) by 5.30pm. At 6pm,
Home and Away held on to 890k (4.6%).
