Emmerdale again proved the most popular soap on Wednesday evening as news spread of Mia's accident, according to the latest audience data.
Emmerdale averaged 7.23m (33.5%) from 7pm for ITV1 and 154k (0.7%) on timeshift, as Declan told Katie about the tragic news that he'd received.
On BBC One, the penultimate
Waterloo Road of the current series educated 4.7m (21.1%) from 7.30pm, as Sian confessed everything to Jez.
Hollyoaks appealed to 1.18m (5.6%) on Channel 4 from 6.30pm and 119k (0.5%) on +1, before E4's first look at the next episode mustered 673k (3.1%) from 7pm and 123k (0.5%) on +1.
BBC One's
Doctors entertained 1.67m (22.5%) from 1.45pm, while Neighbours had 681k (9.2%) on Channel 5, along with 1.25m (7.4%) from 5.30pm.
Home and Away delighted 787k (4.1%) on Channel 5 from 6pm, and 5*'s first look at the next episode pulled in 467k (2.2%) from 6.30pm.
