Emmerdale again proved the most popular soap on Wednesday evening, as the Kings fell victim to a vengeful scam, according to the latest audience data.
Emmerdale averaged 6.65m (31%) from 7pm for ITV1 and 185k (0.8%) on timeshift, as the plan to bring down the Kings was executed by Cameron, Charity and Cain.
Waterloo Road educated 3.87m (17.5%) on BBC One from 7.30pm, as Michael became apprehensive when Linda confided in Sian.
Elsewhere,
Hollyoaks appealed to 970k (5%) on Channel 4 from 6.30pm and 114k (0.5%) on +1, before E4's first look at the next episode mustered 523k (2.5%) from 7pm and 137k (0.6%) on +1.
Earlier in the day,
Doctors entertained 1.71m (25%) on BBC One from 1.45pm, while
Neighbours had 673k (9.8%) on Channel 5. The Aussie drama's repeat screening was watched by 1.01m (6.5%) from 5.30pm.
Home and Away delighted 743k (4.2%) on Channel 5 from 6pm, and 5*'s first look at the next episode pulled in 483k (2.5%) from 6.30pm.
