Ratings: 'Coronation Street' again dominates Monday evening

Coronation Street again outgunned EastEnders in the Monday evening ratings war with its Leanne, Frank and Carla drama, according to overnight audience data.

ITV1's Coronation Street averaged 8.88m (40.2%) from 7.30pm and 123k (0.5%) on +1 as Leanne demanded that Frank tell her everything. The soap was seen by 9.04m (37.5%) from 8.30pm and 130k (0.5%) on +1 as Leanne accused Peter and Carla of having an affair.

EastEnders appealed to 8.29m (34.6%) on BBC One from 8pm, as Masood left Zainab stunned by deciding to end their marriage. A further 681k (3.5%) caught BBC Three's repeat screening from 10pm.

On Emmerdale, 7.03m (34.9%) tuned in on ITV1 from 7pm and 134k (0.6%) on +1 with Belle's theory after David returned to the village.

Elsewhere, Hollyoaks managed 1.31m (7%) on Channel 4 from 6.30pm, before E4's first look at the next episode pulled in 403k (2%).

Doctors averaged 1.59m (25.3%) on BBC One from 1.45pm, while Neighbours had 753k (11.9%) on Channel 5. The show also fetched 1.23m (8.4%) for the repeat from 5.30pm.

Home And Away managed 842k (4.9%) on Channel 4 from 6.30pm, before 5*'s first look at the next episode pulled in 486k (2.6%).
