EastEnders topped the soap ratings on Tuesday evening as vengeful Eddie managed to turn Jack against Michael, overnight figures show.
The Walford drama pulled in 7.55m (38.2%) at 7.30pm on BBC One as Jack furiously attacked his on-off friend following Eddie's insinuations that Michael had an affair with Ronnie. Later, 1.04m (5.3%) watched BBC Three's EastEnders repeat at 10pm.
Also on BBC One, Holby City appealed to 5.07m (24.8%) at 8pm for an episode which saw Elizabeth's mother brought into the hospital in a serious condition.
Emmerdale secured 6.20m (33.9%) at 7pm as Aaron began to crack under the pressure of his murder trial, while Hollyoaks took 953k (5.5%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 and 368k (2.0%) for E4's first look.
Over on Channel 5, Neighbours was seen by 659k (9.1%) at 1.45pm and 1.24m (9.6%) at 5.30pm, while Home and Away interested 872k (5.5%) at 6pm before 474k (2.7%) watched 5*'s first look at 6.30pm.
Doctors, meanwhile, grabbed 1.48m (20.5%) at 1.45pm on BBC One for an episode titled 'Best Laid Plans'.
