More strife for Charity on Emmerdale kept the rural soap above 6 million viewers on Wednesday night, according to the latest audience data.
Emmerdale averaged 6.13m (34.6%) from 7pm on ITV1, as Charity suffered a setback but was still eager to oust Nikhil from the factory. A further 138k (0.7%) watched the episode on ITV1+1.
Elsewhere, Hollyoaks fetched 900k (5.3%) on Channel 4 from 6.30pm and 116k (0.6%) on +1, before E4's first look at the next episode had 356k (2%) from 7pm and 161k (0.8%) on +1.
Earlier in the day, Doctors entertained 1.46m (22.8%) on BBC One from 1.45pm, while Neighbours had 701k (10.9%) on Channel 5. The Aussie drama's repeat screening was watched by 1.08m (8.3%) from 5.30pm.
Home and Away fetched 786k (5%) from 6pm, before 5*'s first look at the next episode entertained 507k (3%) from 6.30pm.
