BBC Three's EastEnders repeat picked up its biggest Friday audience at the year, as the soap's first showing was moved to BBC Two due to Wimbledon.
Evil Yusef's latest actions were seen by 1.21m (6%) at 10pm on the digital channel, after just 5.42m (23.8%) tuned in to BBC Two at 8pm.
Despite a below par performance, Coronation Street was the most-watched serial of the evening, with 7.25m (33.6%) at 7.30pm and 6.68m (28.5%) at 8.30pm (+1: 172k).
Elsewhere, Emmerdale mustered 6.25m (31.1%) for Jackson's funeral, while an episode of Hollyoaks grabbed 776k (4.3%), as well as 297k (1.5%) for E4's first look.
Meanwhile, Neighbours pulled in 679k (9.1%) at 1.45pm and 1m (7.1%) at 5.30pm. Home and Away fetched 710k (4.4%) and 414k (2.3%) for 5*'s first look.
