BBC One's Waterloo Road was seen by 4.88m (23.3%) from 7.30pm, down 180k week-on-week, as Chris found himself in trouble with the police after trying to help newcomer Scout .
Rural drama Emmerdale averaged 5.85m (29.4%) from 7pm, down 790k week-on-week, as Rhona decided to spend time away from the village after things hit rock bottom with Paddy. A further 141k (0.7%) watched the episode on ITV1+1.
Elsewhere, Hollyoaks fetched 790k (4.4%) on Channel 4 from 6.30pm and 113k (0.6%) on +1, before E4's first look at the next episode had 405k (2%) from 7pm and 105k (0.5%) on E4+1.
Neighbours had 779k (10.2%) on Channel 5 from 1.45pm, and the repeat screening was watched by 1.16m (7.9%) from 5.30pm. Home and Away fetched 884k (5.2%) from 6pm, before 5*'s first look at the next episode entertained 456k (2.5%) from 6.30pm.
