EastEnders was the most-watched programme on Tuesday (June 30) with Carol Jackson's bombshell, overnight figures show.
The Walford soap brought in 5.75m (34.4%) at 7.30pm on BBC One as Carol admitted to Shirley that she slept with Buster. BBC Three's repeat screening had 435k (2.5%) at 10pm.
Emmerdale attracted 5.18m (33.3%) at 7pm on ITV and 239k (1.4%) on +1 as the identity of Moses's father was finally revealed.
Holby City claimed 3.81m (21.7%) at 8pm on BBC One as New F1 Morven Shreve arrived for her first day at the hospital.
Neighbours entertained 594k (9.7%) at 1.45pm and 690k (5.9%) at 5.30pm on Channel 5 as Lauren struggled with the truth about Matt and Sharon.
Hollyoaks was seen by 690k (4.8%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 as an intruder targeted the Loveday family. The fallout brought 475k (3.0%) to E4's first look at 7pm and 112k (0.7%) to E4+1.
Home and Away managed 148k (3.3%) at 1.15pm and 506k (3.8%) at 6pm on Channel 5, while 5*'s first look aired to 261k (1.8%) at 6.30pm.
