EastEnders' Roxy and Dean shock seen by 6.2m on Tuesday

EastEnders was Tuesday's top-rated programme (June 16) with Roxy and Dean's surprise passion, overnight figures show.



6.18m (35.3%) tuned in at 7.30pm on BBC One as Dean slept with Roxy shortly after humiliating Shabnam at her engagement party. BBC Three did not air a repeat screening due to Women's World Cup coverage.

Emmerdale attracted 5.32m (32.6%) at 7pm on ITV and 184k (1.0%) on +1 as a scorned Emma told Moira that Cain must be the father of Charity's baby.

Holby City interested 4.17m (22.8%) at 8pm on BBC One as Ollie clashed with Zosia on her first day back on Darwin.

Neighbours entertained 640k (10.9%) at 1.45pm and 742k (6.2%) at 5.30pm on Channel 5 as Paul's daughter Amy arrived in Erinsborough.

Home and Away mustered 188k (3.1%) at 1.15pm and 621k (4.5%) at 6pm on Channel 5 with the aftermath of Alf's health scare, while 5*'s first look had 315k (2.1%) at 6.30pm.

Hollyoaks managed 588k (4.0%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 as Phoebe was murdered by the Gloved Hand Killer, while the aftermath was seen by 471k (2.9%) on E4's first look at 7pm.

Elsewhere, Doctors had a rare day under the 1 million mark, taking 985k (16.8%) at 1.45pm on BBC One.
