The Walford drama was the top-rated programme of the day, claiming 6.61m (33.6%) at 7.30pm on BBC One as Sharon shocked Ian by telling him that they could be half-siblings. BBC Three's repeat screening secured 276k (2.0%) at 10.30pm.
Emmerdale attracted 5.96m (32.0%) at 7pm on ITV and 177k (0.8%) on +1 as Robert told Aaron the truth about Katie's death, while 5.46m (26.1%) returned at 8pm and 238k (1.1%) on +1 as Aaron lashed out violently.
Hollyoaks claimed 962k (5.6%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 as Patrick became furious over Nico's lies, while E4's first look followed with 553k (3.0%) at 7pm and 112k (0.5%) on +1.
Neighbours grabbed 612k (9.0%) at 1.45pm and 721k (5.2%) at 5.30pm on Channel 5 as Paul remained opposed to Daniel and Amber's upcoming wedding.
Home and Away interested 205k (2.9%) at 1.15pm and 582k (3.6%) at 6pm on Channel 5, while 5*'s first look had 340k (2.0%) at 6.30pm.
Elsewhere, Doctors was seen by 1.38m (20.4%) at 1.45pm on BBC One.
