David, Callum plot continues with 6.9m on Coronation Street

Coronation Street topped the soap ratings on Friday evening (February 6) but suffered a dip against BBC One's coverage of the Wales vs. England Six Nations match, overnight figures show.

6.87m (32.8%) tuned in at 7.30pm on ITV and 158k (0.6%) on +1 as Callum's presence continued to cause trouble for David. The second episode fared worse against the rugby union game, with 5.56m (22.7%) returning at 8.30pm and 184k (0.7%) watching on +1 as David was blackmailed by Callum.

Emmerdale attracted 6.09m (31.4%) at 7pm on ITV and 232k (1.0%) on +1 with the aftermath of Katie's tragic death.

Hollyoaks managed 863k (4.7%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 and 129k (0.6%) on +1 as Dirk continued to receive sinister letters regarding Will's death. E4's first look followed with 560k (2.9%) at 7pm and 176k (0.8%) on +1.

Neighbours continued with 650k (9.2%) at 1.45pm and 755k (4.9%) at 5.30pm on Channel 5 as Naomi's new storyline with Dimato continued.

Home and Away interested 219k (3.1%) at 1.15pm and 596k (3.4%) at 6pm on Channel 5, while 5*'s first look had 394k (2.1%) at 6.30pm.

Elsewhere, Doctors was seen by 1.63m (23.4%) at 1.45pm on BBC One.
